MACETERO IXS' STORY SO FARMacetero IX was born on the 15/04/2002 to Deseada XCVII and Goloso V.
He was born in Monroy Caceres Extremadura at a stud called Yeguada La Ciervina. The stud is owned by Ramon Jimenz (pictured below) who you can see in the videos above with both sire and dam. Goloso (pictured below) his sire was sold to the former president of ANCCE, the Spanish Stud book.Truly an outstanding stallion. Deseada XCVII is the daughter of Albero II, the legendary stallion who was the Functionality Champion of Spain, where all of his wonderful movement comes from. As a youngster, Macetero won first prize for movement while being judged by Spains top judge, Juan Llamas. His full brother has taken his place winning for conformation and now in dressage. He was bought by Lisa Hurlong, from whome his early history has been told to me, and through her, he came to live in the UK with Dawn Foy at her stud Jeguada Aduja. From there he was bought by Mandy Wheatcroft of Millpark Andalusian Stud, where he stood as a successful stallion for 5 years, producing many stunning foals. Some of which are pictured above. During the winter of 2010, I fell in love with him, and brought him North to Glasgow, to primarily run with my girls, and to astand at public stud to health screened mares. As time goes on, and my relationship with him matures, I can appreciate that he is not only a valuable stallion at stud, with a flawless, royal pedigree, but his nobleness and kindness make him such a remarkable stallion. We are very lucky to have him. |
